It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! :) We started decorating today, we usually do not decorate until after Thanksgiving but this year my mother is having Thanksgiving at her house and the girls are home from school so why not. The girls are so excited, there is just something magical about this time of the year. This past week I also broke out some Christmas cds. I love me some classic Christmas music, nothing beats Elvis singing Blue Christmas, or Frank Sinatra singing O Little Town of Bethlehem, or Bing Crosby singing ANYTHING! I have to tell you tho my favorite Christmas song is Silent Night it really doesnt matter who sings it, it brings tears to my eyes. This is also the song that I sing to my children almost every night. I know its a Christmas song but I still sing it to them when they go to bed all year long. My oldest daughter Nadiya was born on November 30, so since she was a born I was singing Christmas songs and Silent Night just stuck. Then when Abigail was born (in May) I was so used to singing Silent Night that I just kept on singing it. And they both love it. My favorite verse/lyrics of Silent Night is actually the 3rd verse:

Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face

This song is so special to our family. What song is special to yours? Have a blessed day, I'm going to go listen to some Christmas music and continue to decorate!
